Museum Hours

Pan-Am Building: Closed Mondays. Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday - 12:00 Noon - 5:00 p.m.

Free Parking adjacent to the museum, handicapped accessible.

Resource Center, 459 Forest Avenue. The Center houses the Pan-American Exhibit and is open by appointment only during business hours (Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.). Call 716.873.9695 ext. 302.

Research Library Hours

Wednesday - Saturday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
$6 Fee for non-members (members free)

The Museum Store

The museum store is open Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Museum admission is not required for entry to the Museum Store.

Directions

The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society's Pan-Am Building is located at 25 Nottingham Court in Buffalo, New York.

From Interstate 90, take Route 33 west to Route 198 (Scajaquada Expressway) west. Exit the 198 at Elmwood Avenue, turn right from the off-ramp onto Elmwood Avenue. Turn right onto the first street on your right , Nottingham Terrace, and turn into the parking lot at your right which is Nottingham Court. The Museum is located on your left from the parking lot.

From Interstate 190, exit at Route 198 (Scajaquada Expressway) east and continue to the exit at Elmwood Avenue. Bear right and continue to the intersection with Elmwood. Turn right onto Elmwood Avenue and turn right on to the first street, Nottingham Terrace. At the first right turn into the parking lot which is Nottingham Court; the museum is located on your left from the parking lot.

The Historical Society's Resource Center is located nearby at 459 Forest Avenue. It currently houses the permanent Pan-American Centennial Exhibit. To travel there from the Pan-Am Building, turn left from the museum parking lot onto Nottingham Terrace, then left onto Elmwood Avenue at the traffic light. Follow Elmwood southbound past the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and Buffalo State College to the traffic light at Forest Avenue. Turn right onto Forest Avenue, pass Richmond Avenue and find the Resource Center on your left at number 459. Look for the monumental "Dreamland" sculpture which marks the Resource Center's entrance. On-street parking is available on Forest and Tremont.
