Ginger Strand, author of the newly published book, Inventing Niagara: Beauty, Power and Lies, tells how her exploration of the Niagara Falls scenic area unveiled dichotomies of real versus fake, natural beauty and environmental ugliness, and mastering nature versus coexisting with it.

Guests will take an hour-long guided tour of the Resource Center’s Spirit of the City exhibit, which tells the story of the 1901 Pan-American Exposition, and then be transported via motor coach to Forest Lawn Cemetery for a riding tour of the grounds, complete with costumed actors.

There are two separate tours, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and noon.
