We're here for you with a Research Library that maintains major collections on the Holland Land Company, Millard Fillmore, the Pan-American Exposition, the Larkin Company, and much more.  The Library is responsible for all two-dimensional items in our collection: books, letters, diaries, personal papers, photographs, maps, atlases, drawings, periodicals, newspapers, pamphlets, posters, scrapbooks, microfilms, and even a few DVDs.

If your roots are in Western New York, our extensive genealogical resources may help you find them. We are the leading destination for Buffalo house history researchers.  We welcome you to discover us.

Planning your library visit Because of the irreplaceable and often fragile documents and papers in the Research Library, we have rules for Library visitors that are probably different than what you're used to. Planning Your First Visit is a short slide show to get you acquainted with us.
